About Me

Dr. Yvette Fruchter is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in OCD, anxiety, and OC spectrum disorders (hoarding, body dysmorphia, body focused repetitive behaviors). She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University. Dr. Fruchter completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System, where she worked with a diverse veteran population presenting with a variety of concerns including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), chronic pain, and adjustment-related concerns. Dr. Yvette Fruchter has extensive training and experience using evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She is intensively trained in exposure and response prevention (ERP), the gold standard treatment for OCD. As a clinician, she emphasizes client values and building a life worth living as a way to connect with clients and inspire meaningful change.
